Founders and Board of Directors
There are 5 founding members that will serve as the Board of Directors (BOD) of ICOR.  The leadership, stewardship and governance of ICOR share an ethical member-oriented vision on how to service and improve the world we live in. 
James I. Nelson, Chairperson
President of Business Continuity Services, Inc., a consulting firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.  Jim earned the MBCP certification from DRI International in 1998 and served as DRI's Lead Instructor from 2002-2005. 

Jim serves as professor for Norwich University's Master's of Business Continuity Management program.  He teaches seminars on Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management, and Developing a Resilient Organization. 

Jim also serves as the Business and Relationship Management Consultant to International Association Management, Inc.

Al Sawchak

Al is the Consulting Director for Fairchild Consulting focused on business resilience.  He has over 25 years of consulting and information technology experience.  Prior to Fairchild, Al served as a senior consultant with SunGard Availability Services and Strohl Systems.  He has authored numerous industry magazine articles and conducted numerous training sessions on a variety of risk management and business continuity topics.  He has been a featured international speaker in a variety of forums.

He has earned the MBCP designation (Master Business Continuity Planner).  Al is also a Certified Organizational Resiliency Manager and Supply Chain Risk Associate through the International Consortium of Organization Resilience (ICOR) as well as a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI).  He has recently been appointed to the ICOR Governing Board.  He has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Loss Control Management (ALCM) designations as well as being an LDRPS 10 Certified Software Consultant (LCSC).  Al has also been recognized by the State of Delaware for Outstanding Contributions to their annual exercise program.

Lynnda Nelson, President
As President of ICOR, Lynnda manages the day to day operations of ICOR University.  ICOR University offers education and certification in business continuity management, crisis management & communications, data center management, emergency management, organizational resilience, social resilience, and supply chain risk management globally.

Megan Nelson, Treasurer


Hermeet Singh, Secretary
Senior Solution Architect, Client Solutions for Sun Microsystems, Asia with a strong technology background, currently located in Selangor, Malaysia.  Hermeet has over 15 years of experience ranging from consultation on server performance analysis, software management of servers using management tools like BMC and SUNMC, and security assessment services including intrusion detection and architecture review.

Andrew Lee
Andrew is the Director of DRBCM Associates Pte Ltd, a company that specializes in offering training and consultancy services in BCM related subjects.

He was one of the mentors with the Singapore Business Federation in the National BCM Program and had helped a number of organizations implement their programs and leading them through third-party BCM readiness certification.

He is also a regular speaker at BCM related conferences and workshops sharing his experiences with the industry.
